Is this event for CHARITY??!
YES! We are so excited to be working with THREE fabulous charities. Norton Children's Hospital Foundation, L.O.U. Louisville Outreach for the Unsheltered, and The First Car Project (SEE BELOW FOR MORE INFO about each!!)Norton Children's Hospital Foundation
The Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation is the philanthropic arm for Norton Children’s pediatric facilities and services. The foundation raises funds exclusively for Norton Children’s Hospital, Kentucky’s only full-service, free-standing hospital created “Just for Kids”; Norton Children’s Medical Center; and pediatric services at Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital to support programs, equipment, new technologies, clinical research, child advocacy and health education for patients, families, medical staff and the community.
Norton Children’s Hospital serves all families regardless of their ability to pay. As part of a not-for-profit organization, Norton Children’s facilities rely on the generosity of the community to help fulfill our mission to provide for the physical and emotional health of children, from birth to adulthood. It takes the generosity of everyone in the community to enable Norton Children’s to be here for all children when they need us.
The First Car Project
The First Car Project is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to gift cars to foster youth in the state of Kentucky. These young adults are transitioning out of the care system and into independent living. Having reliable transportation will enable them to access employment and college/vocational education. There are many obstacles along the path for this vulnerable population and The First Car Project hopes to eliminate one. We are so excited to hand off the keys to two deserving individuals at Cars in the Commons!
Donations go to the procurement of vehicles, maintenance and updates to ensure reliability and safety, insurance stipends, and tax/registration fees for each recipient.

JULY, is it going to be hot?
We hope we have one of those rare, breezy July days. As you know, weather is unpredictable around Kentucky. The good news: VIP tickets will be available for access to the Mansion where you can relax INSIDE in AC (more details below). If VIP isn't your style, Barn8 will be open with lots of indoor seating for lunch on a special menu for the day. There are also lots of areas on the Farm with shade trees and picnic tables, hay bales, and seating to catch a break from the sun.
